Amna Asim Khan, a first-year MA History student at the Aligarh Muslim University secured third place in the Satyam Jha Paper Presentation Series, held at St. Stephen’s College at the University of Delhi.

Two junior residents of the Department of Pharmacology in Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College at Aligarh Muslim University, Dr Amrita Kumari Pandey and Dr Pragna Roy, secured financial support for their MD theses under the Department of Health Research's HRD Scheme for the financial year 2024-25.

Tamkeen Fatima, currently pursuing M. Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering in the second year at the Department of Computer Engineering, ZH College of Engineering and Technology at Aligarh Muslim University has qualified for the UGC-NET (JRF) examination, 2024, with an All India Rank 2 with 99.9933 percentile, in her first attempt.

Dr Lhingneilam Hecy Haokip and Dr Vignesh Kumar, postgraduate students in the Department of Anaesthesiology and Critical Care at JN Medical College of Aligarh Muslim University won the third prize in oral paper presentation and Point of Care Ultrasound quiz respectively at the 15th National Conference of Indian College of Anaesthesiologists, held at King George Medical University in Lucknow.

Dr Asiya Islam, an alumna of Women’s College at Aligarh Muslim University, has been appointed Assistant Professor permanently at the Department of Gender Studies, London School of Economics and Political Science in London.

Four regular and two former students of Chinese at the Department of Foreign Languages at Aligarh Muslim University have received scholarships from the government of China to pursue higher studies in Chinese universities.
