Aligarh: The Department of Civil Engineering at Aligarh Muslim University is organizing a 3-day short-term Training Programme on "Infrastructure Safety Auditing System" from September 19-21, in collaboration with the National Institute of Disaster Management, New Delhi.
Prof Rehan Ahmad Khan, Organizing Secretary, said that the three-day programme aims to bring together a diverse range of professionals, academicians, researchers, and practitioners to deliberate and exchange insights into the latest advancements in infrastructure safety auditing systems. He said that by equipping participants with the knowledge and tools required to assess and enhance the safety of infrastructure projects, we aim to contribute to disaster risk reduction efforts.
He said Prof. Chandan Ghosh, Head, GHRMD, NIDM, New Delhi, Prof. Yogendra Singh, IIT- Roorkee, Prof. TK Datta, IIT-Delhi, Prof. Suresh Bhalla, IIT Delhi, Prof. Veerendra Kumar, IIT BHU and Dr. Amir Ali Khan, NIDM, New Delhi will be the resource persons.
