The written test for admission to the Ph.D. programme 2022-23 for the Faculty of Social Sciences at Aligarh Muslim University has been rescheduled and now it will be held on November 23, instead of November 22.

In a grand inauguration on Wednesday, Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College of Aligarh Muslim University, commenced its 15-day induction program in accordance with the directives of the National Council of Indian System of Medicine. The ceremony was presided over by AMU Vice Chancellor Prof. Mohd. Gulrez.

A team of two students from Aligarh Muslim University, comprising team leader Mohd Mazin Jameel from the Department of Electronics Engineering and another member, Nabeel Ali from the Department of Computer Science, won the First Prize in a prestigious national level competition “Technomania: Ideation 2023” hosted by Sharda University on November 4 at Greater Noida.

Sabeera Haris, a student of  Class XI, Senior Secondary School of Aligarh Muslim University, won the Silver medal in the 37th National Games held at Goa.

The Training & Placement Office at Aligarh Muslim University in collaboration with the Centre of Professional Courses organized a session on “Dynamic Employment Prerequisites & Corporate Expectations”, at the Department of Commerce, with an aim to enlighten the students about the industry requirements.

The Students’ Counselling Centre of Aligarh Muslim University organized a workshop on "Healing from Within: Trauma and Grief Management", drawing attention to critical aspects of mental health.
