In celebration of Hindi Diwas 2024, STS School at Aligarh Muslim University organized an event recently, showcasing the talents of its students through two major competitions: poetry recitation and debate.

“Internships act as a window to the corporate world and enable the student to apply the theoretical concepts learnt within the four walls of the classroom to practice,” said Prof Salma Ahmed, Chairperson, the Department of Business Administration at Aligarh Muslim University.

The AMU ABK High School observed Swachhta Pakhwada, focusing on disseminating the message of cleanliness and environmental sustainability among the students and community.

The Department of Education at Aligarh Muslim University, in partnership with the National Institute of Securities Markets, concluded a three-day Financial Literacy Programme, designed to equip students with fundamental knowledge of financial investments and securities markets.

Dr Asiya Islam, an alumna of Women’s College at Aligarh Muslim University, has been appointed Assistant Professor permanently at the Department of Gender Studies, London School of Economics and Political Science in London.

Students from the Department of English organized a special event to celebrate Teachers’ Day, honouring their educators with heartfelt performances.
