Former prisoners stand a strong chance of successfully reintegrating into society if they can pursue entrepreneurship as a career option, according to new research from Durham University Business School and Leeds University Business School.

Four regular and one graduated students from the Chinese Division in the Department of Foreign Languages at Aligarh Muslim University, successfully cleared the Chinese Proficiency Test i.e. HSK, during the 2024-2025 academic session, held in Mumbai and Kathmandu of Nepal.

“For higher education institutions to thrive, they must embrace innovation, foster international collaborations, and implement sustainable models for growth,” said Prof Edward Buckingham, Director of Engagements, Monash Business School at Monash University in Australia, while delivering a lecture at the ZH College of Engineering and Technology at Aligarh Muslim University.

The Ahmadi School for the Visually Challenged marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of its first-ever recreation room for the Sensory Development class. The facility was inaugurated by the Director of School Education Prof Asfar Ali Khan, in a ceremony filled with joy and encouragement.

The Faculty of Law, in collaboration with the Department of Social Work at Aligarh Muslim University, organized a Legal Aid, Literacy, and Counselling programme at the Government School in the village Panjoopur here.
