Aligarh: To mark India's Presidency of the G-20 Summit, the Centre of Continuing and Adult Education and Extension at Aligarh Muslim University organized a week-long Workshop on Spoken English, from August 7 to August 12.
Presiding over the function, Vice Chancellor Prof. Mohammad Gulrez applauded the organizers' efforts and encouraged learners to master English for enhanced career opportunities. He emphasized the importance of effective communication, citing examples from films, and urged participants to strive for proficiency.
Guest of Honour, Prof. Mohammad Asim Siddiqui, suggested that learners engage with commentaries, news, and media sources to facilitate language learning.
The Workshop Coordinator, Prof. Aysha Munira Rasheed, introduced the resource persons and the workshop's methodology and sessions during her welcome address.
Dr. Shamim Akhtar conveyed the vote of thanks on behalf of the organizing team.
