Effective teaching in primary classes given NEP discussed


Aligarh: The STS School organized a workshop on "Effective Teaching in Primary Classes given NEP 2020", in collaboration with the Cordova of Noida, to discuss and disseminate effective teaching strategies aligned with the National Education Policy 2020, focusing on primary education.

Several educators and primary school teachers from AMU Secondary Schools attended the workshop. While delivering the inaugural address, Prof Asfar Ali Khan, Director of School Education at AMU, highlighted the significance of NEP 2020 and its transformative potential for primary education.

Khan emphasized the need for adopting innovative teaching methods and integrating modern technology into the curriculum to enhance the learning experience for young students.

Dr Kalpana Joshi presented NEP 2020 and its implications for primary education, covering the restructuring of the school curriculum, emphasis on holistic development, and the importance of experiential learning.

Dr Joshi delved into the effective teaching strategies within the NEP 2020 framework. She shared practical insights and methods to enhance classroom engagement and foster a better learning environment for primary students.

The School Principal Faisal Nafis extended a vote of thanks. Ghazala Tanvir conducted the programme.
