“Learning should be a joyful experience”

Aligarh: The Aligarh Muslim University students, faculty members, and school teachers rejoiced in the significant ideas shared by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the live-streaming of the 8th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha, 2025, an initiative aimed at alleviating students’ fear and apprehensions about examinations.

While interacting with students on various topics such as nutrition, handling pressure, and leadership, Prime Minister Modi encouraged them to approach exams with confidence and a positive mindset. He remarked, "Exams are not everything in life. We are not robots; we are humans. Learning should be a joyful experience, and students should have the freedom to explore their passions."

Recalling his school days, he humorously added, "My teachers worked hard to improve my handwriting. While their handwriting skills may have flourished, mine remained the same."

The AMU community wholeheartedly embraced the event, gaining insights into stress management, time management, and self-confidence. The enthusiastic participation of students and teachers across AMU institutions reaffirmed the impact of this initiative in shaping a student-friendly academic environment, reinforcing the message that success is about knowledge, skills and personal growth rather than just marks.
