Aligarh: The Centre for Distance and Online Education at Aligarh Muslim University organized an online lecture on ‘Online Education in India: Status, Prospects and Challenges’ by Prof Ahrar Husain who threw light on the status of distance and online education in the current scenario.

He also outlined the difference between online and offline education and discussed various policies regarding online educational opportunities in India.

Earlier, welcoming the guest speaker, Prof Mohd Nafees Ahmad Ansari, Director of the Centre emphasized the importance of online education through NEP 2020 and urged the students to benefit from the various non-conventional learning management systems.
