Aligarh: The University Women’s Polytechnic of Aligarh Muslim University organized a two-day Skill Development Programme on ‘MATLAB & Its Applications in Image Processing’. The initiative aimed to enhance students' technological proficiency, equipping them with essential MATLAB skills for career advancement and self-employment in Electronics Engineering.
More than 80 diploma engineering students from various branches actively participated, gaining hands-on experience in MATLAB’s role in Image Processing and Mobile Game Development. Dr Mohd Tausif, from the Department of Electronics Engineering, ZHCET, served as the resource person, delivering interactive sessions and practical insights.
Dr Salma Shaheen, Principal of the University Women’s Polytechnic, welcomed Dr Tausif and encouraged students to strengthen both their theoretical and practical understanding of MATLAB for real-world applications.
The programme was coordinated by Dr Mohd Ajmal Kafeel, Dr Shahnawaz Uddin, and Dr Md Amir Baig, with key contributions from Dr Mohd Shahbaz Hussain, Al Hamd Khan, and Nazia Haneef. Noor Saba, a diploma engineering student, conducted the event, while Mohd Kashif delivered the vote of thanks.
