Aligarh: The students of B. Voc. III Semester, Fashion Design and Garment Technology of Community College at Aligarh Muslim University visited Impulsion Fashion in Noida to get a closer knowledge of the practical aspect of the programme they are pursuing.

The students were accompanied by Nazia Begum and Shagufta Haseen, who provided guidance and ensured the smooth conduct of the visit.

Impulsion Fashion is a well-known garment manufacturing unit specializing in one-piece dresses, T-shirts, Jumpsuits, and Sweatshirts. It is also known for its advanced technology integration and production methods.

The students visited various departments of the company and saw designing, pattern making, cutting, stitching and software-based-quality checking. They saw the special heat press machines, JUKI Industrial sewing and embroidery machines, and later got acquainted with the industry standards and practices.

Prof Arshad Umar, the Nodal Officer, at Community College, supported this initiative, emphasizing the significance of hands-on experiences for student development.

The visit was planned by Dr Mohd Yunus Khan, Course Coordinator, Fashion Design and Garment Technology.
