Botany scholars win prestigious awards


Aligarh: The Department of Botany at Aligarh Muslim University, celebrates a moment as its scholars- Sana Basri, Mohd Sohail Ashraf, Afreen Akhtar, and Neha Chaurasiya -received the presently NESA-Junior Scientists Award 2024 and NESA-Young Scientists Award 2024.

The awards were presented during the International Conference jointly organized by Banaras Hindu University and the National Environmental Science Academy from recently at BHU of Varanasi.

Guided by Prof Altaf Ahmad and Dr Saad Bin Javed, these young researchers have brought distinction to the Department of Botany and AMU through their exceptional scientific contributions.
