Aligarh: The Training and Placement Office at the Department of Law in Aligarh Muslim University, in collaboration with the TPO General and Testbook, organized a career guidance workshop on ‘Insights and Opportunities for Future Legal Professionals’ for the students of the Faculty of Law.
The resource persons –Shubham Upadhaya, Devashish Pandey and Ashish interacted with the students on various career opportunities and professional pathways in the field of law, such as Judicial Services, Corporate Law, Legal Academia, Judge Advocate General, Litigation, etc. The speakers encouraged the students to teach and internalize Legal 'IKIGAI' – a Japanese concept for finding a career purpose.
Earlier, introducing the resource persons, Saad Hameed, TPO (General), underscored the importance of career counselling sessions for students and their role in enabling them to make informed decisions about their professional choices.
In his concluding remarks, Dr Mohammad Nasir, Incharge, TPO (Law), thanked the resource persons for their cooperation and help. He elaborated on various initiatives and programmes of the TPO and expressed gratitude to the Dean, Faculty of Law, Prof Md Zafar Mahfooz Nomani and the Chairman, Department of Law for his constant support.
