Collections of over 100 paintings depicting rich Iranian cultural history, artistically stylized calligraphy, and hand-knotted rugs and carpets were recently on view at the Moinuddin Ahmad Art Gallery, Aligarh Muslim University in the ‘Exhibition of Iranian Painting, Calligraphy and Carpet Weaving’ of the Institute of Persian Research in a day-long programme which also included interaction and discussion sessions with Iranian women writers, artists and calligraphers and the visiting Iranian delegation at the Institute of Persian Research and the Advanced Centre for Women’s Studies respectively.

Resource persons discussed the use of Information Technology tools designed to boost hospital administrative productivity and the recent developments in emerging technologies for healthcare in the day-long symposium on ‘Techno-Managerial Advances in Healthcare Sector’ held recently at the Frank and Debbie Islam Management Complex, Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Management Studies and Research, Aligarh Muslim University.

The guest speakers and faculty members described the contours of Indian philosophical traditions and perspectives in a one-day national symposium on the theme “Truth, Beauty, and Goodness: Indian Philosophical Perspective”, organized by the Department of Philosophy, Aligarh Muslim University, in collaboration with the Indian Council of Philosophical Research, New Delhi, to mark the Indian Philosophers' Day- 2022 on December 28.
