AMU faculty speaks on dental field advances in different colloquiums

Aligarh: Prof Pradhuman Verma, Chairman, Department of Oral Pathology/Oral Medicine and Radiology, Dr ZA Dental College of Aligarh Muslim University, spoke on the trends and advances in dental sciences at different colloquiums held recently.

Speaking on ‘Innovations in Geriatric Oral Health: An Oral Physicians Prospective’ in a Continuing Dental Education programme of Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Prof Pradhuman highlighted innovations that are transforming geriatric oral health care.

He reflected on advances in clinical oral health care and delivery and models of dental care.

In the webinar to mark the National Oral Medicine and Radiology Day celebrations of the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, Shree Bankey Bihari Dental College and Research Centre, Masuri, Ghaziabad; Prof Pradhuman delivered a talk on ‘Tens—A Step Ahead Towards Orofacial Pain Management’.

He delineated a multidisciplinary pain management approach for the optimal treatment of orofacial pain disorders of non-pharmacological and pharmacological modalities.

Prof Pradhuman deliberated how medical conditions and drugs can affect oral health in a panel discussion at the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, Adesh Institute of Dental Sciences and Research, Adesh University of Bathinda.

He was delivering an invited talk on ‘Management of Medical Conditions in Dental Practice’ in the panel discussion.
