Aligarh: Yogita Singh, a PhD scholar in the Department of Commerce at Aligarh Muslim University, has secured 18th rank in the UP Public Service Commission examination.

Daughter of Desh Raj Singh, an assistant sub-inspector in Delhi Police, Singh completed her M.Com. from the Department of Commerce, AMU. She is also pursuing her PhD under the supervision of the Chairman of the department, Prof. SM Imamul Haque.

Prof Haque said, “Yogita’s success is a matter of pride for the department and the university, and her success will be an inspiration for all the students preparing for the civil services and other competitive examinations.”
