BUMS Students’ Induction Program in AMU

Aligarh: In a grand inauguration on Wednesday, Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College of Aligarh Muslim University, commenced its 15-day induction program in accordance with the directives of the National Council of Indian System of Medicine. The ceremony was presided over by AMU Vice Chancellor Prof. Mohd. Gulrez.

Prof. Gulrez addressed the newly admitted BUMS 1st professional students, underscoring the importance of the Unani system of medicine. Chief Guest on the occasion Prof. Salma Ahmed praised the students and extolled the effectiveness of Unani drugs, while Guest of Honour Prof. MM Sufyan Beg emphasized the role of Artificial Intelligence in contemporary life.

Prof. Ubaidullah Khan, Dean of the Faculty of Unani Medicine, congratulated the incoming students on their choice of the Unani course, emphasizing the importance of education in Ilme Tib.

Dr. Abdul Aziz Khan delivered the welcome address, stressing the significance of the induction program. Prof. Badarudduja Khan, the college principal,in his welcome address highlighted AKT College's status as one of the oldest and premier Unani institutions in the country.

Dr. Ammar Ibn Anwar paid the vote of thanks, and the program's proceedings were overseen by Dr. Saba Zaidi.

Around 150 students and a considerable number of faculty members in attendance, the inaugural session signaled a welcoming start for the forthcoming induction program.
