Launch of Chandrayaan 3 celebrated at AMU school

Aligarh: The students of the Aligarh Muslim University City Girls’ High School actively participated in an ‘Online Quiz Competition’ organized by the Indian Space Research Organization on the successful landing of Chandrayaan 3 on the Moon.

Dr Md Alamgir, Principal of the school said that the students also participated in a sketch competition and showcased their scientific temperament and interest in India’s great achievement by making sketches with varied titles such as India on Moon, New India on Moon, and Lunar Journey of New India. Creative and beautiful models were made by the students to cheer the launch and landing of Chandrayaan 3.

Aqsa won the first prize in the sketch competition while Kulsum Shahid and Shifa Fatima got the second and third prizes respectively. Maria and Suboor received the consolation prizes.

In the Model Making competition, Tuba won the first prize.
