Aligarh: The Department of Moalejat in Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College at Aligarh Muslim University organized a lecture on “Matab wa Nuskha Navisi” i.e. Clinic and Prescription Writing by Prof Abdul Mannan, Former Dean, Faculty of Unani Medicine.

Prof Abdul Mannan emphasized the importance of Unani Tib and sources of learning this branch of medicine. He discussed the qualities of a good Unani physician and the basic requirements for a Matab.

He elaborated on the treatment guidelines of different diseases for better and more effective treatment and exhorted the Unani practitioners to take special care of patients with sympathy towards the poor and needy. He also spoke on the important aspects of Nuskha Nawisi i.e. Prescription writing, for different ailments.

Earlier, welcoming the guest speaker, Prof Badrudduja Khan, Chairman of the department and Convener, Guest Lecture introduced him to the audience.
