Dr Amrita Kumari Pandey’s thesis, titled ‘A Study to Evaluate the Clinical Effectiveness of Multi-genetic Pharmacogenomics-guided Treatment in Drug-naive Schizophrenics in the Northern Indian Population: An Open-label, Randomized Controlled Trial’, seeks to incorporate pharmacogenomics into schizophrenia treatment, potentially revolutionizing psychiatric care by customizing interventions based on individual genetic profiles.

Dr Pragna Roy’s thesis, titled ‘Comparative Study for Efficacy of L-Carnitine and N-Acetyl Cysteine on Iron Overload-induced Oxidative Stress in Patients with Thalassemia: A Randomized Controlled Trial’, explores novel therapeutic strategies to combat oxidative stress in thalassemia patients, intending to enhance clinical outcomes and improve quality of life.
