Aligarh: Wamiq Mohammad Khan, a research scholar in the Department of Geology at Aligarh Muslim University, has been selected for the prestigious Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship Scheme, under the lateral entry channel.
Khan, who is pursuing PhD under the supervision of Prof MEA Mondal, will focus on the crustal evolution of the Aravalli Craton, NW India.
Prof Kunwar Farahim Khan, Chairman of the department, congratulated Khan on the achievement, adding that his selection will bring laurels to the university and will inspire other students.
