Aligarh: Aiman Khan, a postgraduate student in the Department of English and a member of the University Debating and Literary Club, Cultural Education Centre at Aligarh Muslim University, participated in a 2-day online international workshop on ‘Write to Change the World’, organized by the OpEd Project, an online writing platform run from the USA.
Khan shared her views on the interrelationship between language and identity, interrogating the workings whereby identity is both constituted by and reified through linguistic praxis.
She has been awarded a scholarship by the OpEd Project in recognition of her writing skills.
The OpEd Project is a prestigious programme that works in collaboration with Princeton and Yale University.
