Aligarh: The Training and Placement Cell at Aligarh Muslim University organized a webinar on “How to Make a Career in Litigation.” Adv Syed Shahid Imam, a senior counsel at the Calcutta High Court, was the guest speaker.

Adv Imam emphasized the significance of the legal profession. He said that the legal profession remains relevant throughout a person's life, and deals with issues that are pertinent for people from birth to death.

He urged aspiring lawyers to empower themselves with deeper studies of their fields and never be influenced by the fame or reputation of their professional adversaries. He underscored that law practice is based on understanding and applying legal principles and facts.

He said politeness and avoiding any semblance of aggression is the most powerful feature trait of a lawyer’s personality.

Earlier, Prof Hashmat Ali Khan welcomed and introduced the guest speaker.
