‘Law students should focus on practical aspect of their education’


Aligarh: Law students should focus on the practical aspect of their education as it will help them understand the functioning of the legal bodies and give them a professional outlook before they enter their legal career, says Advocate Manoj Kumar N, Vice Chairman, Executive Committee, Bar Council of India.

He was addressing the valedictory session of Law Fest, “Lex Justicia 2023”, as the chief guest, organized by The Law Society, AMU Malappuram Centre.

Advocate Kumar shed light on the current legal scenario and the role of students in shaping the future of the legal profession. He congratulated the winners of various competitive events and expressed happiness on visiting the campus of the Centre.

In his presidential remarks, Dr. Faisal KP, Director of AMUMC, appreciated the efforts of the Law Society to organize extracurricular activities for the all-round development of the students.

Earlier, Dr Shally Victor, Convener of the Law Society welcomed the guests and participants of the programme. Kanishka Gupta, Secretary of the Law Society, conducted the programme.
